I was blessed to be able to host his workshop here yesterday. He is an amazing teacher. I learned several new designs that really pop. He taught us a 3D scorpion, spider and a wicked rose!
I made baked ziti for lunch with french bread and salad and of course my toffee. I've had many requests for the recipe so I am going to put it on my blog.
1 pound of butter
2 cups of sugar
small bag of finely ground nuts ( I use walnuts)
12 oz bag of semi sweet chocolate chips
heavy duty sauce pan
melt sugar and butter in saucepan and stir constantly over medium heat. The second it starts to steam take it off the heat and pour it into a cookie sheet with raised edges. Spread it out and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the butter sugar mixture. Spread it out smooth over the mixture and then sprinkle with the ground nuts. Let cool and break into pieces.
Enjoy!
